The Type C system consists of a BT coupler, two locknuts and two type C1 thread reinforcing bars. To produce a type C1 thread the bar end is upset and threaded to a length equal to half the length of the coupler plus the length of a locknut, and is only suitable where the continuation bar cannot be rotated. Ausreo supplies BT Type C diameter range 12mm - 36mm in both C1 and C2 Thread, as well as BT Type A and Type B. This bar coupler is BT Type C1 Thread - 20mm.
